Most definitions discussed in our group emphasised the difference between Web1.0 (broadcast) and Web2.0 (interaction- with uploading rather than downloading, and in which the interaction is guided by user input).
We discussed the misuse of the term Web3.0 (and whether it's really something that is a step function ahead). The consensus view was that there isn't (and possibly will never be Web3.0);(possibly 3-D social networking?).
We also discussed Web1.5 (anti-social networking? excellent school Web2 activity hidden behind firewalls?)
